Since the establishment of Dalla Nature Reserve, fauna surveys have recorded abundant native species on the property. The bird list stands at 124 and continues to grow. Regrowth corridors have connected hectares of previously fragmented habitat. The creek system is recovering. Frogs are returning. These numbers matter to us more than any other metric. We share them openly, not to congratulate ourselves, but because the land deserves to be witnessed and documented.
We document what we find here – species profiles, seasonal changes, sighting records and ecological updates, shared with anyone who wants to follow along.
By choosing to visit Dalla, you contribute directly to the ongoing conservation of this land. More than that, you become part of the community of people who have stood in this forest. You have heard its birds and felt its vibrations. You have maybe even gone home caring more about the natural world than when you arrived.
